I am pleased to introduce Lesperance Removals and Services Inc. to you and your staff. LRS was established in January 1991 and has proudly served funeral homes throughout Ontario, Michigan and surrounding areas for the past 33 years. I personally have been working in the funeral service for 44 years. We are a fully equipped and staffed service with four locations in Essex County and Chatham Kent County to serve you. Four bases of operation with holding facilities located in Windsor/Essex/Kingsville in (Essex County) and Tilbury in (Chatham Kent County). 

 

We are ready to serve you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are ready to transfer from any Hospital, Nursing Home, Residence or Airline to your location. In addition, we are located only 45 minutes from Metropolitan Airport in Detroit, Michigan and can transfer to all funeral homes in the Province of Ontario. I look forward to being of service to you in the future.

RATES FOR SERVICE - MARCH 1, 2024

 

LOCAL REMOVALS AND TRANSFER (50KM radius from the base) 

One Staff Member Removal - $195.00 

(From Hospital holding facility)

 

Two Staff Member Removal - $275.00

 

Statutory Holiday Fee per call - $35.00

 

Two Staff MemberRemoval include:

  • Service Vehicle 

  • Equipment 

  • Setting appointments for arrangements

  • Providing pertinent information to families 

  • Asking for verbal permission to embalm 

  • Proper placement of identification on deceased 

  • Providing written material to families on behalf of funeral homes 

  • Dressing the deceased at the time of removal, if required

 

Bodypouch (If required) - $50.00

Waiting time after the first half hour on removals - $75.00 per hour

Transfer to/from airport or crematoriums - $275.00

Transfer to/from Detroit Metro/City Airport - $360.00

Transfer of deceased in a casket - $275.00

(Funeral facility to Funeral facility) 

 

Note: Removal/Coach Rental Cancellation Fee - $175.00

 

OUT-OF-TOWN TRANSFERS
 

The first 30 kilometres are free on the transfer of 160 km +

Fees are based on removal fee + kilometres travelled one way

 

Mini Van - $1.90 Per Km

Funeral Coach - $2.50 Per Km

FUNERAL COACH RENTALS
 

Essex County Funeral Homes $385.00

Funeral coach rentals (4 Hours inclusive 

$60.00 overtime charge per hour) 

 

Coaches are subject to availability. 

FUEL SURCHARGE MAY APPLY IF GAS PRICES EXCEED $1.65 PER LITER
